OPC powertrains

If your desire is an Opel Corsa OPC with the impressive strength of 192 hp, with maximum torque of 230 Nm – up to 260 Nm on overboost, it is waiting for you. With 7.2 seconds to 100 km/h, accelerating to a maximum of 225 km/h, astounding performance is assured.

 

Or perhaps the Opel Astra OPC. Guaranteed to give you a driving experience appealing to all of your senses. Just hearing the powerful sound of its 177 kW (240 hp) two-liter turbo engine is enough to rouse the senses.

 

Then there is the range topping Opel Insignia OPC. The all-aluminum 2.8 V6 twin-turbo features dual variable valve timing, oil cooled pistons and sodium filled exhaust valves. This delivers a horizon-shrinking 239 kW (325hp).

 

These are just three of the engine options available from OPC. Whichever you choose, there is exhilarating performance for ultimate driving satisfaction. Also the 6-speed manual or automatic transmissions are specially adapted to the OPC Sports chassis and engine combination. After all, power is nothing without the control to enjoy it.

Special OPC chassis

The specially lowered OPC chassis delivers dynamic reflexive handling. Up-rated springs, dampers, and anti-roll bars for handling precision, mean the ride is stable and safe.

 

For example with the Astra and Zafira OPC the selectable chassis settings controlled by the SportSwitch, allows you to choose your style of driving. Select Sport mode and the steering and suspension immediately optimizes for spirited driving.

 

Another step forward comes with the Opel Insignia OPC models. Here, FlexRide adaptive suspension and 4x4 literally adapt themselves to your personal driving style. Add to that Brembo brakes and standard 19inch alloy wheels and you can start to imagine the handling capability waiting for you.
