To ensure maximum performance and economy in a demanding commercial environment, every power unit in Opel Vivaro’s range of diesel and gasoline engines delivers an outstanding combination of fuel efficiency, durability, and driveability.
Both 2.5 CDTI engines are available with Diesel Particle Filter (DPF). The diesel engines feature the latest common rail technology, delivering significant benefits: lower fuel consumption, greater torque at low revs for improved performance and extended engine life, and reduced noise and emissions levels.
Diesel Particle Filter
The diesel engines optionally feature Opel’s state-of-the-art particle filter: this maintenance-free filter requires no additives and delivers state-of-the-art environmental protection.
Transmission
The standard 6-speed manual transmission reduces fuel consumption and minimizes interior noise. The gear shift is ergonomically perfectly positioned in the center console.
